It’s a hard lesson in life to learn you can’t trust your parents, and I don’t wish it on any kid. But that’s a much more direct bond of trust to break between a parent and child than it is when the trust is broken between mom and dad. Cheating on your spouse doesn’t make you a bad parent, just a bad spouse. (In this case, he’s also a bad governor.)
