Yeah, it was a fluff piece. But, hmm, I think you are right that it was “Awake”, but I do love reading over the doctrine as well. In the world of pretend and myth I like to compare my Fighter Jet / Space Ship on Steroids to the Lada’s and Moskviches in the industry.

Careful… doctrinally, on common theological issues like “immortal soul,” “hell,” “the Trinity” stuff like that, they are more in tune with the 1st century “church” then most contemporary sects. But other than that, they are a re-socializing organization, much like Scientology, with oppressive control of members and the have an “end of the world” doctrine that is even more extreme than standard Christianity.
