As an ex-Witness, I can assure you that those articles of that nature are designed to be “non-offensive” on purpose. The concept is if you see an article like that, you will leaf through the magazine and maybe read the articles that are related to the organization.

And I suspect you read that in the “Awake” magazine… “The Watchtower” normally ONLY deals with religious issues. The two magazine look similar.

Yeah the Watchtower I just got is all about Jesus and his death (that time of year) and Awake covers, time mgt, chimpanzees, the Amazon, Mont Blanc and a piece of examples of where scientists and engineers have taken design cues from animals, like the kingfishers beak and air resistance used in designing a Japanese bullet train.
