Just the sound of racking a 12 gauge pump should do in most circumstances.

Had a friend who thought he was clever for having sabot rounds for home defense. Every cop I have talked to recommended 00 buck— it will clear a room and not go through drywall into another room.

I talked to a couple of policemen before I purchased mine. I got the pump action for the deterrant effect, don’t want to clean up blood unless absolutely necessary.
