We don’t even surplus hard drives. It gets wiped, and then I use my patented Kinetic Drive Erasure Tool to ensure complete security.

Or the bandsaw in the shop, but only if Dan isn’t watching. Dan gets mad if I abuse the bandsaw blade.

Heh. Yeah, I’ve taken a few hard drives apart just to pull the platters off and scratch them up. It feels like payback for all the trouble some drives have given me.
