What about those who insist on buying and bringing their own cloth bags, and that everyone else do the same? I suppose that’s all fine and dandy for those who go to the market every day or every other day but, not all do.

You need multiple bags for that. What about the bags that carry meat? I’d wash those after every use. Same with produce. I wonder how much energy and water and soap will be used?

Oh, wait. I shouldn’t be violating the rights of cows, chickens, pigs and fish by eating them.

It really comes down to food safety. I have a fit when some knucklehead tries to out my lettuce in the same bag as raw meat. I think those reusables are fine for household items, but I don’t like them for food.

You can recycle those bags anyway. There are big collection boxes
at all the big grocery stores.
