Nonsense. Fox news blows away all of the other networks and if they were an arm of the GOP, Obama couldn’t have won based on ratings alone.

Fox - by and large - and following the polling data around the US and among demographics - appears to be a network afloat on the viewership of people who’s basic cable doesn’t carry another station… and the 25%ers of the Bush era’s final days in the bunker…

It doesn’t rate as a more trusted news source than it’s competitors outside of the South - and elections are won over North, East and West too. The Fox News constituency doesn’t a national election winning coalition make.
