Obamacare was enacted in 2010 - so the 10 year estimate is for the 10 year period.

Note the chart they’re referencing. They look at Obama’s baseline. Then compare it to the 2013-2023 period.

That’s not the same as 2010-2020. The proper comparison would be to examine the 2010-2020 period, as adjusted each year’s estimate from the CBO.

So you’d see how the CBO scores the 2010-2020 period comparing apples to apples.

Looking at what happens in 2023 is three years beyond what the initial CBO scoring did. Not apples to apples.

Not that Trump, or Hoft, care.
