Thanks KT..I’ll be moved in on Jan 1st. Can’t wait till spring to try growing stuff. I can’t possibly think my first attempt at a garden will be successful.
( Well unless all I grow is tomatoes )

Some general gardening advice I’ve heard is to make sure to try herbs as well as plants you expect to harvest fruits/vegetables off of. The reason for that is that for most herbs you’re just harvesting leaves, and that’s simpler for the plant than having it succeed all the way to flowering and then producing fruit.
