A baker might defensibly refuse to stock and sell same sex cake toppers, since they wouldn’t be selling the toppers to anybody. This would be pushing it, and dickish, but it wouldn’t be illegal under discrimination ordinances.

If they simply carry only mixed-couple cake toppers, they cannot be forced to add them to their selection, just like a halal butcher cannot be asked to sell bacon.

And in no way does baking a cake confer any sort of blessing to a marriage, it is a business proposal. But it makes the True Christian (TM) feel all butt hurt that they cannot express their disapproval in a more blatant manner.
