I wouldn’t be surprised. They’re trying to Levi him, stalling for time while they destroy him personally in the hopes that, when this finally goes before a judge, they can argue that he’s too much of a loathsome bastard to be let anywhere near the child.

Gonna be a lot tougher to do that to a Medal of Honor winner…
