The NRA has spent the past twenty years contradicting itself. I have little doubt that in twenty years they will be even more crazier than they are now because they’ve convinced themselves that firearm ownership is absolutely and something that is divinely decided.

I would laugh, but I’ve seen RWNJs state with a straight face that all of our constitutional rights are divinely granted by God, and that the Constitution simply protects those God-granted rights. They seem to have a hard time when I ask about slavery being protected under the Constitution, and was God right then, or is he right now. Generally goes downhill from there quickly.
