Perhaps I am uncommon. Did the “runaway” bit back in the day. No allegations against parents - just wanted more FREEDOM/AUTONOMY than I had. Took a few “knocks” - went back home - took some “poop” for awhile - and ultimately got permanent respect for having done it. That is all.

I had a cousin run away at age 15, to some sort of hippie commune in New Mexico.
She stayed for quite awhile.
