In North Korea the government runs the show as a totalitarian dictatorship. Doesn’t matter what the North Koreans think or want. /sidenote

In Gaza, Hamas eliminated the political rival Fatah in a bloody civil war complete with throwing “collaborators” and Fatah thugs off rooftops in a very public display of defenestration.

During Cast Lead, Hamas thugs went through Gaza hospitals looking for people they thought gave up Hamas positions to the IDF and shot them.

Hamas operates out of Gaza as a totalitarian entity or a gang hellbent on total control and will collude with other terror outfits as necessary to keep the pressure off Hamas (as part of the triangle offense of terror against Israel).

The West Bank is controlled by the Palestinian Authority/Fatah under the Oslo Accords and other agreements and the situation there is more fluid.

But the majority in Gaza are supporting Hamas and their genocidal rhetoric. There isn’t some silent majority that can be called upon to institute a peaceful society in Gaza because those living there have fostered an environment that rewards jihad and war against Israel and refuses to accept a 2-state solution.

Concur. Hamas is the greatest malfactor, but even if they were gone Gaza still would not want peace.
