No one is saying the South doesn’t have a race issue. What they’re saying is that acting like the rest of country’s hands are clean, and ranting about how bad Southerners are gets old.

And yet we find the worst and most racist of the new laws coming from Southern states.

What gets old, and got old, was the denial of reality and history. What gets even more old is the tribalism that would rather play web favorites than look at both history and current events that form a clear pattern.
