My mom has switched to over the counter—Motrim PM. Ibuprophen plus Benedryl (dyphenhydromine sp???).

She has been doing fine on it.

Americans are over-medicated in general. I have facebook ‘friends’ who sit up at night complaining that their Ambien isn’t working (turn off the fucking computer and lights and lie down). I understand that insomnia sucks…the chemical cures aren’t much better.
