This makes me crazy. Hedy Epstein is not a Holocaust survivor. She spent WW2 in Britain. She could be more accurately described as a Holocaust refugee, but she did not survive the concentration camps or hiding out in Nazi-occupied territory.

I’m confused, she was sent to England via the Kindertransport and lost all but 2 of her family at Auschwitz. That’s not considered a Holocaust survivor? What is she and all the others like her considered then?
