Yeah, the sound of the alarm this morning was painful. Couple of counties in Eastern KY started last week. Trying to get ahead of any possible bad winter and missed days. Last year we had two different winter storms pass through Lexington that dumped 14 inches, and 18 inches of snow respectively. Places in the mountains and hollers have such a hard time with roads that the amount of school days missed can end up in the 25+ range, in an area that already struggles with educational achievement.
