This year, instead of a Fiskie Award (which, honestly, is starting to feel kind of dated to me), I’m thinking of a “Nontroversy of the Year” award — the most ridiculous hyped-up outrageous outrage of the year.

There were so many this year, it should give us plenty of possible candidates.

Agreed. I know that something right-wing will win this year (and deservedly so), but I’d ask to nominate at least one thing from the left this year in the interests of balance.
