I guess I always thought of it as a bit of satire and a bit of mania…even in a city filled with carnal fun- chess “gamers” were in the zone…and satire on the whole gender meaingins involved in what it meant to be any gamer in the 80s- if you were not a jock or a prep, you were…well, ya know…
