On the thread topic of the bad political tone that has been developing in the country, I would like to remind the Lizards that IMHO it was foolish to elect someone who could say “typical (anything) person” and denigrate others as “bitter” and “clinging to guns and religion.”

It is hardly surprising the continued direction that the country is taking.

I’m just saying.
