I see CNN is still pumping up the hysteria. Granted it’s still a dangerous storm but only if you don’t take the right precautions. However here’s from the front pages of CNN dot com:

• Hurricane Irene has slammed into North Carolina and is moving north. Forecasters expect it to bring deadly storm surge, heavy rain and misery to millions.

• Hurricane experts are warning New Yorkers that millions of people could be trapped in their homes for days, without power, transportation and phones.

Meanwhile, they’re reporting “light damage” in North Carolina.
