With gun ownership (supposedly) now legal in DC, isn’t there a huge underserved market? How long would it take to get zoning approval for a gun store in Cleveland Park?

On the first question; you’d think so, wouldn’t you? Yet I keep hearing from other lizards out in Red State America how their gun shops have been almost picked clean of firearms and ammo; yet both the shop I go to and the range I go to are stocked up. (The shop did sell out of CAR-15 clones right around Inauguration, but seem to be back in stock.)

As to your second question…. I think the City Council’s answer would be, “how about ‘never’? Does ‘never’ work for you?”
