When I was over talking to the folks at Wilson Combat they explained how their test firing operation went.
Each 1911-type .45 that goes out the door is tested. A minimum of 82 rounds is fired; FMJ, wadcutter, and hollow point. The pistol is not shipped until it will fire a five-shot grouping from 15 yards that can be covered with a quarter.
The pistols start at around $2,200. I thought of your comment about the Kimber pistol vs. your old G.I. issued .45 when they told me that.
