The guy who made the video has been doing this for a while: walking up to and asking rather blunt questions of the corrupt politicians in Washington. Unlike Moore, he did not edit together a string of unrelated clips and scenes to make up some point.

No. He just completely removed the bit prior to what’s shown. Without seeing what provoked the alderman into such action, I’m inclined to consider the possibility that we’re seeing a severe distortion of reality here.

All it would take to decide is a quick look at the beginning of the tape. It’s absence is extremely suspicious.
