Trump says at a TPUSA conference tonight: “As president, I wanted to give myself the Congressional Medal of Honor, but they wouldn’t let me do it.”

He “joked” about this in August 2019 when speaking at a veterans’ event. But Trump doesn’t have a real sense of humor; he may very well have truly considered this as an honor he merited.
