Sometimes, it is good to say, “Yep. I did it! I resign!” and get the hell out of the way. Very unfortunate timing for the Dems.

Ted Stevens was dirty too, IMO. His stuff hit in July of ‘08. Got him out of office though.

I am so glad Stevens is gone. He and Senator Byrd were horrible about the big pork projects.
