And I am not surprised that BP isn’t running those ads in Louisiana and southern Mississippi. You guys, more than anyone, know who screwed the dog at Macando. And I agree with you that the new MMS should ask for updated response plans for all sites that have received permits and review new drilling requests *now*.

The question is, how long will it take for the oil companies to generate real response plans that could pass muster for a similar blowout in deep water?
