The nice thing about being a social ape is we have a very plastic brain that can be moulded quite successfully by social pressures. Even though a fair bit of it is hardwired, the software portion of it can be modified on the run as we develop to mitigate much (but not all) of the effects of that hard wiring.

Maybe it is that we (wimmens) are supposed to make you THINK you’re the aggressor. Aha! I’ve never been so good at that myself.
