re: #62 The Dude Abides

I don’t think a two-state solution is doable logistically. I’ve said the following before and never gotten a response, and I’ve never seen anyone else discuss it: Why not a three-state solution consisting of Israel, West Bank, and Gaza?

Then why not 4 ,, or 5 ,, or 7 ,,,

Negotiations for the two state solution have to be held with “A” faction representing Israel and “A” faction representing the Palestinian people.

In the past, that has been the PLO for the Palestinian people (think Rabin/ Arafat during Clintons presidency)

Who they send to the negotiating table now would be up to them. if they want to send a mission that includes the PLO, Fatah AND Hamas then the ONLY way I would accept that (if I were an Israeli negotiator) is if Hamas amends their charter to recognizing Israel as a legit state
