Noted health care expert and druggist Rush is claiming covid19 isn’t any more dangerous than the common cold.

Fucker is lying to his listeners.

Seasonal flu is far more deadly than the common cold: 0.1% mortality rate from the flu.
Thus far, the covid19 mortality rate is anywhere from 10-40 times higher (3.4% via WHO figures). And it is easily spread and can linger on surfaces for 2-3 days.

SARS: low transmissibility but 10% mortality rate.
MERS: low transmissibility but 36% mortality rate. (Fauci wrote the article used for those stats).
The common cold? It’s hard to find stats on actual mortality from the common cold but it appears to several magnitudes less than that of the seasonal flu.
