A Jew—even someone who is merely “culturally Jewish,” whatever that means—who cozies up to Nazis is like someone celebrating Shabbos with a big plate of pork chops.

No offense, buzz, but I think the analogy is inapt. The pork chop diner could be cheerfully questioning a dietary restriction, without doing anyone any harm or in any way attacking Jews or Judaism. Cozying up to Nazis is a whole different ball of wax.
