Maybe I’m naive but that is precisely why I’ve never bothered to get a flu shot. I understand even if the shot is not the exact same evolved strain it may still give you some degree of immunity but I’ve also heard you can feel icky after the shot too. Icky isn’t worth the small degree of immunity in my mind.

My office has done them free for employees for the last 20 years. 20-40 people, no one has felt icky yet, and it helps cut down on sick time.
