The fact that no one on the right has, thus far, explicitly condemned these attitudes being openly displayed indicates tacit acceptance of these ideas.

Instead, the ignorati of the right try to dismiss it out-of-hand as the work of agent provocateurs or other assorted nonsensical theories.

What would be nice? To hear Speaker Boehner loudly condemn such things, on the floor of the House, in primetime. I’m not a Republican, however, this kind of poisonous rhetoric needs to be addressed. On the other hand, if Speaker Boehner did something like that, he’d likely instantly alienate a significant chunk of the Republic base.
