I face this problem in all my social dealings. The Republican party has a very negative image among many Americans. Being a “Republican” signifies to many people that one is racist and uncharitable.

The Republican party needs to make clear that it is for freedom, liberty, justice, and equal opportunities for all people. I hope Michael Steele can invigorate the party’s image. It’s an important job that has to be done.

Well- this is one political “hostage” that’s not suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. I’m sick of this shit, and I’m getting a drink. After that, I’ll be trying to figure out some viable solutions. Until then the best I’ve got is the rational among us need to get in the trenches.
