I wonder what it is like when you are president of the United States, and you…

1) Can’t keep your promise to pass a health care reform bill (or what ever it’s called today) before the summer recess.

2) You find that almost everything you said about the arrest of your friend Gates, had no basis in truth.

3) Your poll number are going down, down, down and Nate Silver doesn’t even get into the debate. “Hey Nate, how come you haven’t weighed in on the recent poll numbers?”

4) It crosses your mind that every single dictator that you have tried to make some diplomatic progress with has ignored everything you have said and even your threats have fallen on deaf ears.

5) As you look over the financial state of the nation, it becomes more and more evident that economically things look better, the same way a gambler looks better when he is still flush with borrowed money. As soon as those who benefited by the bailouts and stimulus money spend it all, we will not find much change or process in our financial health.

6) The unemployment rate won’t go down no matter how many times you say it’s going to get better.

7) And last but not least, after inviting Crowley and Gates to a party at the White House, you are still stressed becuase you have no idea if you open a Budwieser with a “twist” or a bottle opener.

Good luck.
