I chose official Chinese media/ state propaganda though because that shows that the Chinese government itself takes this seriously. The Chinese gov’t is telling its people themselves that this is an issue they are addressing and they are boasting about it. Now China is very far from perfect on green issues and a host of other things. This is not some hagiography pointed at their current regime. But to repeat, they admit the problem of climate and are spending billions to directly address it and to out compete us in new sectors based on it.

Compare that to the US.
