Yes, risible. Who doesn’t know who Dr Pachauri the head of the IPCC and TERI is? He is the ‘face’ of AGW and won the Nobel Prize with Al Gore.

That he is now discovered to be making untold millions as a direct result of his recommendations as IPCC chair is a huge scandal that is taking India by storm. That he also profited from recommendations he knew to be false may go beyond conflict of interest and land him in prison.
