That’s the whole reason I ran screaming from the military recruiters in high school. I made the mistake of taking the ASVAB just to get out of class for the day and ended up with people from West Point and the Air Force Academy at my door.

I didn’t mind the prospect of four years of free school, but the five years of mandatory service after that? Not so much. Heh.
