Seriously, what the hell is it with conservatives and voter ID? It’s a solution in search of a problem. Voter fraud is practically non-existent in the US. Unless one is stupid enough to believe the likes of James O’Keefe.

It’s also a solution that “by coincidence” impacts mostly people who don’t vote Republican.

I mean, you guys already gerrymandered the hell out of most states to protect your candidates. You can’t win on issues, so you’re going to rig the game.

The GOP loves it because it allows them to go after Dem constituents in the name of “voter fraud,” while to conservatives in general it plays to their conspiracy theories about how Democrats are utilizing “voter fraud” to overcome the country’s “inherent” center-right tilt and win elections when it’s “obvious” to them that Democrats are sneaking in thousands/millions of operatives to win elections that conservatives “know” they won by a wide margin.
