When news of the great $13 “rescue” for the working poor came across the wires a few days ago, I could just see the air going out of the “I voted for Barack, he’s gonna lift us all out of poverty and pay my rent!” crowd.

Suspect that there are a lot of disillusioned Obama voters out there who are looking at that astonishing $13 per week figure, and thinking “WTF?!”.
