I don’t get Romney’s strategy here. He says something reasonable one day, even occasionally makes it clear that Obama is a decent man who he doesn’t hate.

Then other days he accuses Obama of appeasement and apologizing for America. Which is Sarah Palin nativist “he doesn’t love America like us” bullshit. I suspect Romney feels desperate looking at the polls and is now gonna try anything and everything.
