Idealistic?

They have “I got mine, fuck you.” No ideology. Just a lack empathy combined with greed.

There actually are idealistic libertarians. It involves some incredible optimism about human nature and a basically magical understanding of the dynamic between power and money, but some people really do think that an unregulated hyper-individualist society is what we should aim for.

They’re actually rather sad to deal with, because they seem blind to all of the potential abuses of the system they propose, but are at the same time really prickly about criticism.
