Failing economically? What’s the price we pay for not taking care of homeless people? They blow up buildings maybe?

I’m drawing a direct line to be dramatic, but it doesn’t help society as a whole to have desperate people walking about.

We’ll always have desperate people walking about. The best that can be done is to contain them. And it wasn’t even mostly Reagan’s fault. It was a bipartisan screwup.
