I can’t blame you for that reaction. I’m not saying we don’t have it easy. I am saying that in the specific case of academic scholarships, the selection criteria overwhelmingly favors minorities. There are some good reasons for that, but it doesn’t make it any less true that a white male winning an academic scholarship is a rare thing.

Well, we need to do something to try and balance things out. Even this gesture isn’t nearly enough. I mean, sure, women and minorities might find it easier to get a scholarship to university, but once we get out we get to be paid less money than the poor white guys in the same jobs.
