I don’t think he/she is trying not to answer you. I think he/she is trying to explain something that’s gotten awfully tangled.

I know, that’s why I am trying to condense it down to some simple points. It has nothing to do with how one may or my not perceive the term, or whether it bothers some and doesn’t bother others. Simple fact is it is a slam when used black on black, so, can’t be any better if a white uses the term.
