You were eager for me to say that, but I didn’t, because it’s not what I think.

I’m only going to state this again, once, so listen up. I don’t go by the presumption of “they do it out of love for their children”. I think it leads to excuses and rationalizations for abusive, damaging behavior. Twist it into “SHE SAID SOCIAL CONSERVATIVES DON’T LOVE THEIR CHILDREN!!” as many times as you like, doesn’t change what was actually said.
