I’m not obsessed with him, but I do find him entertaining even though I usually disagree with him. I think he needs the controversy to drive his ratings, and attacks both the GOP and the Dems when they don’t agree with his politics. I think he’s more honest then Anne Couter for example, I don’t think she believes half the stuff she spouts to sell her books.

Rush carries a lot of the mail for Repubs and conservatives. His message is consistent and honest, for the most part. He can also be pretty damn amusing. I can’t handle the tit-for-tat minutiae of regular politics, but in a crisis I tune him in quite a bit. I would love to see him debate Obama—he’d wipe the floor with the Zero.
