re: #717 HoosierHoops

Really? That is surprising..How often do you reboot?
I’ve always contented that the structure of memory heaps without efficent memory garbage disposal always allows memory leaks and thus has been a weakness of Windows.. In the early days of C programmers..It was they who were responsible for memory management…But come multi-tasking and compiler differences and general OS memory mangement..memory leaks has become a major issue for friggin years.
In Java..The Compiler itself employs an automatic garbage system for releasing, reclaiming memory and making it available to new processes..
Someday when you are running 24 INTEL chips on 1 square inch in your notebook.. It will be memory mangement that rules the day..

I reboot my computer probably on average once a week or when it automatically does it after an update. It’s very fast and pictures & video games look much better than the 32 bit version. The only drawback is limited software compatability but I can live ith it.
