I wanted to kick Obama in the ankle when that aired (can the Secret Service investigate me for saying I wanted to kick him in the ankle?) But I do agree that “PC” often gets used in a sneery way to tell people they can’t demand polite behavior from others.

Believe me, I wish he hadn’t said this. But we really do pick and choose what is offensive according to our own personal soft spots - and according to whether we like who said the offending thing. This is where I disassociate myself from the Democrats, meaning the tendency to get offended very easily. But according to some of the comments, including the curling iron fellow, PC is not the exclusive domain of the Dems.
